It's Been Awhile...

Sooo, it has been a long while since I updated the blog. We were SO busy all summer long. It was the craziest and best summer of my entire life. So many mini trips and vacations. I think we were only in Louisville on the weekdays. We were out of town almost every weekend. We are thankful to be home and relaxing now, but we had a BLAST!

We were lucky enough to go on 2 vacations this summer. We went to Hawaii (Maui & Oahu) for my BFF Kelly's wedding and we went to Garden City Beach, SC with the Browell clan.

We were also in Columbus for the majority of July and August. We had weddings, family & class reunions, baby showers and birthdays, oh my! A summer of celebrations.

To update you on a few things, we are still at Fort Knox, and I am STILL looking for a job. I have come to realize that interior design is not going to cut it down here in Kentucky. I have resigned myself to some type of administrative position, which sucks. What sucks even more is that the administrative jobs all want 3-5 years of experience. I mean, seriously? How hard can it be to answer a phone and schedule meetings? An idiot can do that job.

I worked really hard for my degree and am very upset that this is not working out for me. I feel lost, kind of like I don't know what to do next. I will take a job, any job at this point. I have contemplated going back to retail, but the mall is 30 miles one way from our house. Is it really worth a 60 mile round trip to work retail? Doubtful.

So I am still housewifing it down here in hillbillyland. I hate cleaning and love cooking and baking so we are definitely getting fat...lol.

I am going to try to start updating the blog more often. I have lots to share from our summer of amazing travels!
